Immigration Psychological Evaluation Services

What does it look like?

As a therapist, my role is to listen carefully, understand your unique circumstances, and document how your mental and emotional well-being has been affected by the events surrounding your immigration process. This might include experiences such as trauma, separation from loved ones, fear of returning to your home country, or the stress of uncertainty.

All interviews are offered virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant online platform. You can connect from the comfort of your home or any private setting - anywhere within the state of California.

Types of Evaluations:

  • VAWA

  • U-visa

  • T-Visa

  • Asylum

  • Cancellation of removal

  • Extreme hardship

What is the investment?

The fee for a completed Immigration Psychological Evaluation is $900.

Interviews are typically conducted within two 1.5 hour interviews, scheduled within 1–2 weeks.

Additional fees apply for expedited evaluations, court testimony, and any extra collateral consultations requested by your attorney.

How is it helpful?

The evaluation results in a detailed report that can help strengthen your case by:

  • Providing evidence of psychological hardship that supports legal claims for waivers, asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, or hardship cases.

  • Helping immigration attorneys present a fuller, more human picture of your experience to the court.

  • Giving you a voice - helping decision-makers understand the emotional and mental impact behind the facts and paperwork.

  • Ultimately, these evaluations combine clinical expertise with empathy and care. They not only support your legal process but can also be a validating and healing experience - helping you feel seen, heard, and understood.
