About Me
Hi, I’m Yvette Garcia, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and proud first-generation Mexican-American therapist serving clients across California. With over 15 years of experience supporting families in a variety of settings, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most vulnerable and underserved communities throughout Los Angeles County.
As a proud daughter of immigrants and a Los Angeles native, I understand firsthand the layers of generational trauma many in the Latinx community carry - the pressure to succeed, the unspoken sacrifices, and the deep desire to make our families proud. These experiences have fueled my passion for helping others heal and find peace in their own stories.
My passion lies in supporting women and mothers who are navigating trauma, anxiety, and life’s many transitions. Whether you’re working through childhood wounds, the challenges of motherhood, or redefining yourself, I help you process your experiences so you can reconnect with your identity and step into your best self.
My dedication to serving the community extends beyond individual therapy. I also provide psychological immigration evaluations, a service close to my heart. I believe that every person’s story - of sacrifice, resilience, and hope - deserves to be heard and honored. Through a trauma-informed approach, I help individuals and families share their narratives in a way that reflects their strength and humanity, giving them a chance to stay together and feel safe.
You don’t have to carry it all on your own anymore. Healing is possible — and I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.
